About us
Our aim for this group of boys is very much aligned to the Murieston way. We want our boys to have fun and learn football skills so that they stay in the game when they are older and do not become lost to football. To this end, we aim to make being part of 1999 Blues a life-experience. We organise a lot of events and trips for the boys to encourage team-bonding and give them a balance in their football experience. We also have nights out for the parents too.
Anyone interested in joining our team should contact the coach (contact details above).
Take a look at some of the recent events recorded below.
Traning:
We strat back at training on Monday 2 August between 6pm and 7.30pm, then Friday between 5.30pm and 7pm. Can boys bring both sets of footwear to the sessions (trainers and boots)

Murieston Socer Sevens Festival - Sunday 6 June
Murieston hosted a soccer festival over the weekend of 5 and 6 June. Our team's games were on Sunday 6 June and the boys aquitted themselves fantastically well, playing great football from start to finish. Despite not having the rub of the green in the first couple of matches, they stuck to their tasks and got their just rewards in the end. Well done!
M&L Festival, Preston
We all had a fantastic time at the Preston trip over the Easter weekend. Although we only won one game, the boys acquited themselves with great determination and competed well against some very talented teams and were unlucky not to produce more wins. In addition to the football tournament, we took in the Bolton Wanderers V Aston Villa game, had a swimming session, went to Blackpool Pleasure Beach and visited the FA Museum in Preston. We also did some 'cruising' along the promenade in our 'pimped-up mini-bus'.
The facilities at Preston were magnificient and we were all impressed with the organisation of the event.
Here are some photos from the tournament.

Recent Events:
Presentation Evening November 2009
We enjoyed a great presentation day on Sunday 29 November at Deer Park. The boys and families played 10 pin bowling followed by lunch and a wonderful presentation. Many thanks to Cameron MacDonald from Livingston FC who presented all the awards on the day. It is great for the boys to see a young, local talent making good progress in the game.
The main awards were:
Player of The Year Connel Gibson
Players' Player of The Year Cameron Donaldson
Most Improved Player Rhys Stuart
Team Person Cameron Smith
Christmas Trip 2009
The boys had a fantastic time on their Christmas trip this year.
We travelled by train to Newcastle where we were given a private tour of St James' Park by Sue. We then hot-footed it across to Sunderland to watch the Sunderland V Arsenal game before heading home on the train.
The boys (and accompanying officials) had a great time, singing our way along and competing with the Arsenal and Sunderland fans, and amusing our fellow train passengers with renditions of our own football songs and good humour.
A couple of photos from the trip are below.
