<div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span><span style="font-family: Tahoma;">The annual Murieston Utd Soccer Sevens Festival will take place at Bankton Mains on the weekend of 6th & 7th June. The 1997 & 2000 age groups will play on the Saturday with the 1998 & 1999's on the Sunday.<br />

<strong>Where is Bankton Mains ?</strong><br />
Anyone travelling to our facility for the first time can obtain directions by using the <strong>Plan Route to Club</strong> facility on the left.<br />
<br />
<strong>Festival Rules and Guidelines<br />
</strong>1. Festival registration starts at 9:15am on each day in the clubhouse. All teams must sign in by 9:45am. Evidence of permission to participate (i.e. a permit issued by the relevant association) will be requested.<br />
2. The first set of games on each pitch will start at 10:00am prompt.<br />
3. Subsequent games will start simultaneously on all pitches at 30 minute intervals thereafter.<br />
4. For all age groups each game is 25 minutes long with no interval (i.e. - 1 continuous game).<br />
5. There will be a 5 minute break between each set of games to allow for changeovers etc.<br />
6. All teams are due to play 5 games on the day with no back to back matches scheduled thereby allowing players recovery time between games.<br />
7. All games at the 1998/1999/2000 age groups will be 7-a-side (played to the WLSDA guidelines which can be viewed at <a href="http://www.wlss.org.uk" target="_blank">www.wlss.org.uk</a>) <br />
8. The 1997 age group will play 11-a-side to regular football rules.<br />
9. Match supervisors (who are all volunteers giving up their own time) decisions should be respected by all players, coaches and supporters at all times.<br />
10. All players will be presented with a medal shortly after the completion of the final match on both days of the festival.<br />
<br />
<strong>Rules for use of the Murieston Utd Facility<br />
</strong>1. No running or playing with balls in the Car Park or around the Club House / Changing Rooms.<br />
2. No stalls selling food or other items, gazebos or barbeques may be set up on the facility. The consumption of alcohol on the facility is strictly forbidden.<br />
3. On site parking is limited therefore each participating team will be able to park one vehicle in the club car park. Players may be dropped off at the entrance to the main car park but vehicles must then be removed to an alternative parking area.<br />
4. Additional parking is available less than 5 minutes walk away at Livingston South Railway Station.<br />
5. Please note that the authorities have made it clear that there must be no parking on the main road or grass verges, the car parks belonging to the Bowling Club and Scout Hut nor the surrounding housing estates.<br />
6. The changing facilities will be available for use throughout the day as required however teams will be unable to leave items within the changing rooms given the volume of players passing through.<br />
7. All rubbish should be placed into the bins and bags provided.<br />
8. Please ensure that all players and spectators are on their best behaviour and respect the MUCFC code of conduct which can be found below.<br />

<strong>MUCFC Code of Conduct </strong><br />
<strong>In consideration of being named coach of a Murieston team, I agree to the following:<br />
</strong>1. I will treat all my players, all other coaches, parents, referees and league officials with respect at all times.<br />
2. I will follow club rules as laid out in the MUCFC Constitution<br />
3. I will be open and honest with my players, their parents, referees and league officials.<br />
4. I will encourage good sportsmanship, team work and football skills to all my players through the use of positive motivation.<br />
5. I will never verbally abuse my players, intentionally embarrass them, or hold them up to ridicule.<br />
6. I realise that I must lead by example, so I will not embarrass myself and my team by shouting or arguing with officials, or blaming officials for my team's short comings.<br />
7. I will not be preoccupied with winning. I will measure my success as a coach by the improvement of each of my players and in their growth as team members.<br />
8. I realise that football is only a game. I will do my best to ensure all of my players enjoy it.<br />
9. The well being and safety of my players, will be of the utmost importance.<br />
10. I will ensure the activities I direct will be appropriate for the age, maturity, experience and ability of my players.<br />
11. I will co-operate fully with other coaches, officials, doctors and physiotherapists in the best interests of my players.<br />
<strong>In consideration of being a player with Murieston Utd Community Football Club, I agree to the following:</strong><br />
12. I will treat my team mates, opponents, coaches, parents, referees and all others involved with the Club with respect at all times. <br />
13. I will give my full attention to my coach and do my best to follow their instructions. <br />
14. I will always try hard to do my best, both in training and during games. <br />
15. I will encourage and help my team mates and others who may not be as skilled at football as I am.<br />
16. While I will like to win, I will not be overly concerned about winning it is the taking part that counts.<br />
<strong>In order to assist my child in his/her soccer experience, I/we agree to the following:<br />
</strong>17. I realize that Murieston football players are not accomplished athletes. Therefore, I will support my child unconditionally regardless of how well he/she does on the soccer field.<br />
18. I will encourage my child to do his/her very best at all times, whether at practice or in a game.<br />
19. I will support the coaches in all their efforts to teach sportsmanship, team work and soccer skills to the players.<br />
20. I will show support for my child's team, and at the same time I will applaud the efforts of all of the players in the game. I will NEVER criticize or ridicule another player.<br />
21. I realize that who wins and loses the game is of little consequence. I will not place pressure on my child to win.<br />
22. I know that Football is for kids. I will not try to live or relive my own athletic experiences/dreams through my children.<br />
23. I will not embarrass my child, my team, or myself by criticising or yelling at officials, coaches or other parents.<br />
24. I will view all games from my own team's sidelines. <br />
