******* IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PARENTS - PLEASE KEEP UP TO DATE WITH UPCOMING EVENTS AND GAMES BELOW *******

Our aim for this group of boys is very much aligned to the Murieston way. We want our boys to have fun and learn football skills so that they stay in the game when they are older and do not become lost to football. To this end, we aim to make being part of 1999 Blues a life-experience. We organise a lot of events and trips for the boys to encourage team-bonding and give them a balance in their football experience.
Take a look at some of the recent events recorded below.
Traning:
We train on Mondays and Thursdays between 7pm and 8.15pm on the 3G at Murieston.
Fixtures:
Saturday 11 February Jim Brady Cup R1 Away v Grangemouth Colts . Kick-off TBC . Boys to meet at the pavilion at TBC. Away kit (white tops, red shorts and red socks).

February
Our race night will be going ahead on Saturday 18 February at Livingston Rugby Club, Craigshill to raise funds for our Easter trip. We will need a huge effort from everyone in getting tickets, horses, and raffle tickets sold for the event. We also need good raffle prizes from everyone as per the note issued before Christmas. The Easter trip is dependent on this being a good night!
Many thanks to the businesses who have agreed to sponsor a race, donated a raffle prize or in some cases both.
Prizes include: Meal for two; £30 resturaunt voucher; Free MOT; 4 x Cinema Tickets; Hand tied Flower Bouquet; One month's free gym membership; Head and shoulder massage; Nail file and polish; Male and femal bath gift sets; £10 beauty therapy voucher and more prizes to be confirmed.
April
We will be going back to the M&L Easter Festival at Preston and staying at the same location as last year. We will leave on Thursday 5 April and return on Monday evening 9 April. During our trip we hope to take in at least one football match and the Blackpool attractions.
Previous events:
2011
Sunday 18 December 2011
We took in the English Premiership game between Man CIty & Arsenal as our Christmas trip. We travelled by mini-bus and had a great time. It was a fantastic day out and a great game for the boys to watch.
Saturday 25 June 2011 - Presentation Evening
We will be holding a celebration of the boys' efforts at the Murieston Clubrooms. Please bring along your own drink to the event. Be there around 7 for a 7.30 start until late.
Sunday 11 December 2010
We had a tremendous time at the Newcastle Utd v Liverpool match at St James's Park on 11 December. This was the third Premiership game the boys have seen with us over the last couple of years. We travelled by train to and from the game and had some great banter with our fellow travellers on both journeys. We also had an impromptu group dance in the middle of a very busy Newcastle shopping area to the delight of the busking band and shoppers - it's probably on youtube somewhere. The boys good behaviour was commented upon on more than one occasion and represented the club in an excellent manner. Only one other point to note was that the shopping in the Newcastle official club shop was successful, with the purchase of a 'ladies' ring by a couple of the boys (don't worry - your identities are safe!!).
Presentation Evening 5 December 2010
We enjoyed a great presentation day on Sunday 5 December at Deer Park. The boys and families played 10 pin bowling followed by lunch and a wonderful presentation. Many thanks to Keith Watson of Dundee Utd who presented all the awards on the day. It is great for the boys to see a young, local talent making good progress in the game. Keith had attended previous presentations as a young prospect. We are delighted that he could afford his time once more and this time as an established SPL player and Scottish Cup winner! Pictures to follow.
